Comparison to Laser Tattoo Removal and Other Techniques
Laser tattoo removal can be more expensive, as it takes as it takes many more treatments and has a reputation for being painful and leaving scaring.
Although in hindsight, it was certainly an improvement on skin grafts, laser can be viewed as aggressive and outdated when compared to the latest tattoo removal methods at Oxford Skin Clinics.
Laser relies on the ink pigments being absorbed back in to the body and after treatment the skin should be kept out of direct sunlight for some time, neither of which are a feature of our cream method.
How Oxford Skin Clinics system compares
Our system IS NOT:
- colour selective (i.e. will treat all colours at the same time)
- absorbing ink back into the body
- reliant on avoiding the sun post treatment
- as painful as laser tattoo removal
Our system is the most cost effective and least painful method known for tattoo removal. Our very latest precision machines often give a much better experience than the application of the original tattoo that you have already been through. A topical anaesthetic can also be applied to the area before treatment if required.
The OSC system is safe. Laser removal can cause long term skin texture or pigment change and surgical methods can leave significant scarring.
Oxford Skin Clinics system is the fastest and therefore the least expensive, non surgical way to remove a tattoo and permanent make up. A tattoo can typically be removed in approximately 2 treatments on the same area.
Laser treatments can take significantly longer, thus savings soon add up in both time and money.
Our system is proven. Many clinics in Europe now offer this tatoo removal treatment and some laser clinics have switched to it. Worldwide R&D has been carried out for over five years.
